NEW PATIENT

60 minute session | $225.00

ANYONE WHO HAS NOT BEEN SEEN DR. COURTNEY BEFORE, NEEDS A NEW PATIENT APPOINTMENT.

Your first visit will include a complete health history review, a comprehensive examination of the issue(s) that brought you in, as well as exploration for any underlying joint restrictions or muscular imbalances you may not be aware of.

Dr. Courtney will keep an open dialog with you about her findings, your past care experiences and what treatments are recommended for your current condition(s).

With your consent, Dr. Courtney will administer your first treatment; this could be a spinal or extremity manipulation, more commonly known as an “adjustment” and/or some type of soft tissue technique indicated to your care needs.

You and Dr. Courtney will mutually agree on the next steps in your treatment plan, with the expectation that changes will be made based on how your body responds – or doesn’t respond.

Our ultimate goal is to develop a routine that gets – and keeps – you out of pain and in overall good health.

20, 40 or 60 minute sessions | $75.00, $150.00 & $225.00

ART is a soft tissue system/movement-based massage technique that treats problems with muscles, tendons, ligaments, fascia and nerves. Problems in a muscle can cause your body to produce tough, dense scar tissue in the affected area. This scar tissue binds up and ties down tissues that need to move freely. As scar tissue builds up, muscles become shorter and weaker, tension on tendons causes tendonitis, and nerves can become trapped.

This can cause reduced range of motion, loss of strength, and pain. If a nerve is trapped you may also feel tingling, numbness, and weakness. Headaches, back pain, carpal tunnel syndrome, shin splints, shoulder pain, sciatica, plantar fasciitis, knee problems, and tennis elbow are just a few of the many conditions that can be resolved quickly and permanently with ART.

These conditions all have one important thing in common: they are often a result of overused muscles. Treatments address problems in individual muscle tissues as well as the space between tissues. One tissue or structure can affect another structure or joint biomechanically and it can also affect adjacent structures directly. This treatment specifically addresses muscle tissue interference by identifying problems with motion, pressure or tension between adjacent tissues.

An ART session is what Dr. Courtney calls “tough love”, but it will guarantee you some fantastic results and fast change. The ART session incorporates an adjustment as well within the treatment. The best of both worlds!
